“Crit’Air” air quality certificate in France

To enter a French environmental zone, you need the Crit'Air ecological sticker, which is not free. It is mandatory for traffic in low-emission mobility zones (ZFE-m) and for differentiated traffic during periods of (temporary) increased pollution. As temporary environmental zones are difficult to predict, it is advisable to order the Crit'Air sticker in time.

The price is €4.76. The sticker can only be ordered online.

Information and purchase of the Crit’Air sticker: www.certificat-air.gouv.fr

Attention ! Other commercial websites offer the Crit'Air sticker at a higher price. Caution is required, misleading intentions cannot be ruled out either. Traveling within the perimeter with an unauthorized vehicle or without a sticker is punishable by a fine of €68 to €135. The sticker is valid as long as it is legible and throughout France.
