If winter road conditions exist (black ice, packed snow, slush, ice or frost) proper winter tires are mandatory in Luxembourg.

This includes winter tires, all-weather or all-season tires with an M.S., M+S, M&S marking or the mountain pictogram/snowflake.

All wheels of the vehicle must be equipped with them.
